Ready to take the next step toward a career in accounting? Join TXCPA Permian Basin for the 2026–27 CPA2B Bootcamp, an online event designed for students and CPA candidates looking for practical advice, real-world insights and guidance as they prepare for the profession.

The afternoon features three sessions:

3–4 p.m. | Business Decorum 101
Allyson Baumeister, CPA, CGMA, will share practical tips on professional communication, networking, workplace expectations and building confidence and credibility.

4–5 p.m. | Steps to Get Those Three Letters
TXCPA’s Shicoyia Morgan, M.Ed., will walk through the path to CPA licensure, including education, exam preparation and experience requirements.

5–6 p.m. | Your First Year as a CPA: What Nobody Tells You
Hear candid insights from CPAs about the challenges, surprises and opportunities that come with transitioning from student to professional.

Whether you’re exploring an accounting career or already working toward your CPA license, the CPA2B Bootcamp will help you prepare for what’s ahead.
